PROJECT: Resume.co is a US job search product designed to help people prepare high-quality resumes, navigate the hiring process, and find their next job faster and with less stress.
Who We’re Looking For
This is a wishlist for an ideal candidate who probably doesn’t exist. If most of these points sound like you, and the rest feel close, don’t hesitate to reach out!
- Senior level — 5+ years of experience in mass-market B2C products
- Strong experience in communication design: the ability to quickly communicate product value through visuals, structure, and presentation
- Experience with landing pages and marketing funnels: understanding how to build interfaces that not only look great, but also convert
- Experience with animation and the ability to use motion as part of the user experience
- Openness to feedback and a positive attitude toward it, as well as the ability to give thoughtful feedback to others — we have a high quality bar
- Speed of execution — we move fast and test hypotheses quickly: ideally, up to one week for a concept and one more week for the final design
- Communication with development: presenting designs, giving feedback, and approving releases
- Understanding of hypothesis- and metrics-driven work
- A nice plus: prototyping with AI tools and knowledge of Amplitude — but if you don’t have it, we’ll teach you
- Good enough English for work communication
- Russian language - must!
- Location outside Russia and Belarus — unfortunately, we’re unable to hire in these countries
What You’ll Do
Communicate value to users: visualize Resume.co’s key features and package them in a way that is clear from the very first screen.
- Landing pages and hero sections — we regularly test new landing pages
- Quizzes and onboarding flows — we test these too
Develop the visual language: we already have an established style for marketing pages, a design system, and design principles. Your role will be to evolve and scale them further.
UI animations: we want to use more motion in the product and marketing experience. We expect you to create motion concepts independently.
This can include:
- AE projects or any other animation tool you prefer
- Vibecoded prototypes
You'll do that in a healthy environment
- Lightweight culture. No micromanagement, no crunch, love replacing meetings with Loom, organize around flat roles vs hierarchy. We value balance because when we're living well, we're working well.
- Data driven. We have Amplitude, A/B tests, quick interview hiring services, easy access to user support messages, and other perks.
- Design culture. Almost everyone here has good taste and understands design. Great ideas often come from developers or managers — and that's awesome.
- We love to learn and grow. We provide mentorship and will be happy if you mentor us too. We pay for courses, books, subscriptions — minimal hassle, no approvals needed (within reason, of course).
- Both product and process matter to everyone. We “own” our tasks, deliver them on time, warn if something is wrong, and sound the alarm if something goes wrong with product delivery.
- We're a team and we care about it. We visit each other in person, spend an hour or two on Fridays to gather and chat about what's new in our lives. We have a random coffee Slack bot that matches two people (opt-in) for chats.
